Stainless Brass (also known as PVD) products look the same as brass but are both scratch and weather resistant. This removes the need for polishing and is particularly suitable for areas subject to excess weathering - e.g. coastal regions, areas of high pollution etc. Many of these products come with a 25 year guarantee having been subjected to extensive testing.
PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a state of the art process which deposits molecules of hard wearing metals onto the surface of the product. This invisible microscopic layer protects the finish from discolouration even when exposed to salty air, strong sunlight, pollution etc.
