DoorbellsWe have 2 types of doorbell system, electric and mechanical, which can be wired or wire-free.
Electric doorbell systems work off either a mains or battery power source and require the following fittings;
- wired mains systems: bell push or pull, bell or chime, transformer & bell wire.
- wired battery sytems: bell push or pull, bell or chime & bell wire.
- wire-free battery systems: supplied with all necessary fittings.
Mechanical doorbell systems can take several forms but generally require the following fittings;
- wired systems: bell pull, bell, steel cable & rocking junction.
- wire-free systems: supplied with all necessary fittings.
